Hood Latch, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the lock carrier. Refer to Lock Carrier, Removing and Installing .

-- Unclip the release cable -2- and wire -5- from the brackets -7-.

-- Remove the bolts -3-.

-- Remove the hood latch -1- in the direction of -arrow A- from the lock carrier -6-.

-- Unclip the wire -5- at the hood latch.

-- Slightly lift the bracket -4- in the direction of -arrow B- from the hood latch -1- and disengage the release cable -2- in the direction of -arrow C-.
