Bumper Carrier, Removing And Installing: Installing

Conditions

• The help of a second technician is necessary for the following procedure.

-- Slide the bumper carrier -1- in the direction of -arrow- onto the Guide Rods:T10625  -3 and 4-.

-- Secure the left and right cotter pin -5-.

-- Install the bolts -2- securely but do not tighten them.

-- Remove the long Guide Rod:T10625  -3- from the left and right subframe.

-- Install the outer bolts -6- securely on the subframe, but do not tighten them.

-- Remove the short Guide Rod:T10625  -4- from the left and right longitudinal members.

-- Install the inner bolts -6- on the left and right longitudinal members, but do not tighten them.

Install in reverse order of removal.

-- Tighten the bolts -2 and 6-.
