Plenum Chamber Cover, Removing And Installing: Installing
Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:
If the Windshield is Replaced
-- Remove the inset from the windshield retainer.
Continuation for All Vehicles
CAUTION:
Risk of damaging the windshield by striking the plenum chamber cover in the retainer.
Cracks in the windshield are possible.
- Never strike the plenum chamber cover or posh in using a tool.
- Press in the plenum chamber cover by hand using slight pressure in the retainer.
-- Spray the windshield retainer with soapy water to make it easier to install the plenum chamber cover.
-- Position and center the plenum chamber cover on the windshield retainer.
-- Starting at the outside, gently push the plenum chamber cover into the windshield retainer.
