Bulkhead, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the plenum chamber cover. Refer to Plenum Chamber Cover, Removing and Installing  .

-- Remove the lock washer -2-.

-- Loosen the damper -3- at the top from the bulkhead -1-.

For the additional procedure the Fresh Air/Recirculation Door -VX96- must be closed, to do so proceed as follows:

-- Switch the ignition on.

-- Close the fresh air/recirculation door to do so operate the information display control head button "recirculation".

-- Disconnect the connector -1-.

-- Switch the ignition off.

-- Remove the nuts -1-.

-- Unclip the hook -arrows- from the fresh air intake -1-.

-- Remove the bulkhead -3- with the fresh air intake -1- and cover for the fresh air intake -2- upward.

-- Unclip the fresh air intake -1- -arrows- and remove it from the cover for the fresh air intake -2-.

-- Remove the cover for the fresh air intake -2- from the bulkhead -3-.
