12V Sockets U5/U19, Removing And Installing: Removing

For clarity, the following procedures are shown with the socket removed.

CAUTION:

Risk of damaging component surfaces.

- Tape off the visible area on the component with adhesive tape.

-- Insert the Puller:T40148 -A- into the socket -1-.

-- Turn the knurled nut -4-, until the hooks -3- engage into the recesses -2-.

-- Remove the socket -1- using the puller -A-.

-- Disconnect the connector.

-- Loosen the knurled nut and remove the puller -A- from the socket -1-.
