Thorax Airbag Crash Sensor In The Driver/Front Passenger Side B-Pillar G1101/G1102, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:

-- Make sure the connector slides on until it audibly engages.

-- Make sure the wire is not pinched.

-- Connect the battery ground cable. Refer to BATTERY, DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING .

CAUTION:

Pyrotechnical components can deploy unintentionally.

Risk of injury.

- Keep as far away as possible from the pyrotechnic component when switching the ignition on.

-- Switch the ignition on.

-- Check and clear the DTC memory using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.
