Threaded Connections, Cleaning

Special tools and workshop equipment required 

• Contact Surface Cleaning Set:VAS 6410 

Tip

Use gray sanding pads for slight contamination and for soft surfaces. Use red sanding pads are for heavy contamination and for hard surfaces.

Removing

-- Disconnect the battery. Refer to BATTERY, DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING .

-- Remove the terminal from the corresponding threaded connection -1-.

-- Position the adapter -A- out of the Contact Surfaces Cleaning Set:VAS 6410  on the threaded connection -1- and sand down by rotating in the -direction of the arrows-.
