Installed Position Of The Tensioning Claw

A tensioning claw touches two fuel injectors.
The bulge in the tensioning claw -arrow- faces downward.

CAUTION:

There is a risk of engine damage.

After installing a new short block it is required after the installation of the high pressure line to tensioning claw the tensioning brackets of the fuel injectors to the specified tightening specification. Refer to -item ) Bolt-. Only tighten the tensioning claws >>hand tight<< after delivery when assembling the high pressure lines in order to align the fuel injectors.
