Cooling System Charge Kit - Electric Vacuum Pump :VAS6096/2, CHECKING

Special Tools And Workshop Equipment Required 

NOTE:

Before using the :VAS6096  and the :VAS6096/2  , a check must be performed to ensure that the cooling system is filled correctly.

-- Connect the hose -1- of the :VAS6096/2  to the connector coupling -B- on the :VAS6096  .

-- Connect the :VAS6096/2  on the vehicle battery and switch on.

-- Close valve -A- and open valve -B-.

-- The needle on the pressure gauge -arrow- must move until it is well below the green area.

-- Close the valve -B- and switch off the :VAS6096/2  .

-- Monitor the vacuum on the pressure gauge for 10 seconds. The needle must not move.

If Not Enough Vacuum Builds Up, Or The Pressure Continues To Increase: 

The :VAS6096  , the pressure gauge or the :VAS6096/2  is leaking or faulty and must not be used.
