Overview - Cylinder Block, Transmission Side: Notes

NOTE:
Clutch, Servicing. Refer to CLUTCH (6-Speed Dual Clutch Transmission 02E) , CLUTCH (5-Speed Manual Transmission 0AF) , CLUTCH (Hybrid - Direct Shift Gearbox 0CG) and CLUTCH (Manual Transmission 02Q, 02QA) .
- Central Bolt
- 90 Nm +90°
- Replace after removing
- Crankshaft Toothed Belt Sprocket
- Bolt
- 15 Nm
- Seal
- Do not lubricate or grease the sealing lip on the seal
- Replacing. Refer to CRANKSHAFT SEAL, REPLACING, BELT PULLEY SIDE .
- Sealing Flange on Belt Pulley Side
- To remove, remove the oil pan. Refer to OIL PAN, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Must be located on dowel sleeves
- Removing and installing. Refer to SEALING FLANGE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, BELT PULLEY SIDE .
- Cylinder Block
- Crankshaft. Refer to CRANKSHAFT .
- Piston and connecting rod. Refer to PISTON AND CONNECTING ROD .
- Bolt
- 60 Nm +90°
- Replace after removing
- Flywheel/Drive Plate
- Drive plate, removing and installing. Refer to DRIVE PLATE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Intermediate Plate
- Must be located on dowel sleeves. Refer to Identifying Intermediate Plate Alignment Bushing .
- Be careful not to damage or bend when installing
- Sealing Flange - Transmission Side With Seal
- Replace only as a complete unit.
- Use the support sleeve provided with it when installing
- To remove, remove the oil pan. Refer to OIL PAN, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Before installing, remove oil remains from crankshaft journal with a clean cloth
- Do not lubricate or grease the sealing lip on the seal
- Supporting sleeve may only be removed after the sealing flange has been slid onto the crankshaft pin.
