Heater Support Pump -V488-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, VERSION 2: Removing

-- Remove the noise insulation. Refer to NOISE INSULATION .

If the Heater Support Pump -V488- must be removed

-- Release and remove the connector -arrow- from the Oil Level Thermal Sensor -G266-.

-- Then free up the wiring harness.

-- Place the :VAS6208 underneath.

-- Release and remove the connector -6-.

NOTE:

Place a cloth underneath to catch any escaping coolant.

-- Clamp off the coolant hoses -3 and 4- using the :3094 .

-- Loosen the lower hose clamps -arrows- at the Heater Support Pump -V488- and remove the coolant hoses.

-- Remove the bolt -2-.

-- Remove the Heater Support Pump -V488- -5- together with the bracket -1-.

If The Heater Support Pump -V488- Must Be Removed From The Engine Due To Lack Of Space

-- Release and remove the connector -arrow- from the Oil Level Thermal Sensor -G266-.

-- Then free up the wiring harness.

-- Release and remove the connector -6-.

-- Remove the bolt -2-.

-- Move the Heater Support Pump -V488- -5- to the side.

If The Heater Support Pump -V488- Must Be Removed From The Bracket

-- Remove the bolts and then remove the pump.
