Overview - Cylinder Block, Belt Pulley Side

- Ribbed Belt
- Check for wear
- Do not kink
- Ribbed belt routing. Refer to Fig 3.
- Removing and installing. Refer to RIBBED BELT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- When installing, make sure it is seated correctly on the pulleys
- Ribbed Belt Tensioner
- To release the tension on the ribbed belt, pivot using an open end wrench.
- Secure using the Locking Pin: T10060A
- Removing and installing. Refer to RIBBED BELT TENSIONER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Bolt
- 8 Nm +45°
- Replace after removing.
- Bolt
- 150 Nm +90°
- Replace after removing.
- Use the Counterhold - Vibration Damper: T10355 to loosen and tighten
- Removing and installing. Refer to VIBRATION DAMPER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- O-Ring
- Not a replacement part; supplied with the bolt
- Vibration Damper
- With the ribbed belt pulley
- Removing and installing. Refer to VIBRATION DAMPER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Vibration Damper Sealing Ring, Replacing. Refer to VIBRATION DAMPER SEAL, REPLACING .
- Sub-Assembly Bracket
- With oil filter and engine oil cooler
- Removing and installing the sub-assembly bracket. Refer to SUB-ASSEMBLY BRACKET, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Removing and installing the engine oil cooler. Refer to ENGINE OIL COOLER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Seal
- Replace after removing.
- Bolt
- Tightening specification and sequence. Refer to Fig 2.
- Replace after removing.
- Bolt
- Tightening specification. Refer to OVERVIEW - GENERATOR .
- Generator
- Overview. Refer to OVERVIEW - GENERATOR .
- Alignment Sleeves
- For the A/C compressor
- A/C Compressor
- Do not remove or disconnect the refrigerant lines
- Overview. Refer to OVERVIEW - A/C COMPRESSOR POWER UNIT .
- Bolt
- Tightening specification. Refer to OVERVIEW - A/C COMPRESSOR POWER UNIT .
Sub-Assembly Bracket - Tightening Specifications and Sequence
-- Mount the sub-assembly bracket and then install the bolt -4- by hand.
NOTE:
Replace the bolts that were tightened with an additional turn.
-- Tighten bolts in -1 to 5- sequence in three stages as follows:
