Clutch Master Cylinder
- Removing and installing. Refer to CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
Bearing Bushing
- Removing and installing. Refer to BEARING BUSHING, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Do not lubricate
Clip
Seal
- Replace after removing the clutch master cylinder
- Glue to the clutch master cylinder
- Self-adhesive
Clutch Position Sensor -G476-
- Can be checked in "Guided Fault Finding" using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.
- Removing and installing. Refer to Clutch Position Sensor -G476-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
Bearing Axle
- Replace after removing
- Do not lubricate
Stop Buffer
Nut
- 25 Nm
- Replace after removing
- For the mounting bracket to the bulkhead
- Self-locking
- Quantity: 3
Bearing Shell
- Installed on both sides
- Installed in connection with over-center spring only
- Do not lubricate
- Quantity: 2
Mounting Bracket
- For the clutch pedal
- Removing and installing. Refer to MOUNTING BRACKET, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Use a Piston Pin Drift :VW207 to drive the bushings into the holes for the mounting bracket pins on the bulkhead.
Return Spring
- Installed depending on the date of manufacture
- Removing and installing. Refer to RETURN SPRING, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Do not grease the mount on the mounting bracket.
Mounting Pin
- Replace after removing
- For the clutch master cylinder
- Do not lubricate
Over-Center Spring
- Installed depending on the date of manufacture
- There are different versions. Refer to the Parts Information for the correct allocation.
- Removing and installing. Refer to OVER-CENTER SPRING, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Do not lubricate
Bearing Bushing
- Do not lubricate
Slide Bushing
- Installed depending on the date of manufacture
- For return spring mounting
- Install on clutch pedal
- Lubricate to the return spring mount
- Refer to the Parts Information for the grease.
Mounting Pin
- Replace after removing
- For plunger/clutch master cylinder
- Do not lubricate
Clutch Pedal
- Removing and installing. Refer to CLUTCH PEDAL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Do not lubricate
Pedal Rubber
Bearing Bushing
- Do not lubricate
Tension Spring
- For the clutch pedal
- Installed depending on the date of manufacture
- Removing and installing → removing and installing over-center spring. Refer to OVER-CENTER SPRING, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
Damping Element
- Installed in connection with tension spring only
- Do not lubricate
