Valve Body, Removing And Installing, Transmission Removed: Removing

-- Remove the transmission fluid pan. Refer to TRANSMISSION FLUID PAN, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the wiring harness for the sensor and solenoid valves from the valve body. Refer to SENSOR AND SOLENOID VALVE WIRING HARNESS, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Release the connectors -1, 2, and 3- -arrow B- and remove them from the valve body -4- in the direction of -arrow-.

-- Disengage the wire from the valve body -arrow A-.

-- Loosen the bolts -arrow- in a diagonal sequence.

-- Carefully remove the valve body -1-.

Only the indicated bolts -arrow- may be loosened.

CAUTION:

If the other bolts are loosened, the valve body function is impaired or the valve body will distort.
