Sensor And Solenoid Valve Wiring Harness, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the air filter housing with the air duct hose. Refer to AIR FILTER HOUSING, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the battery and the battery tray. Refer to BATTERY TRAY, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the transmission fluid pan. Refer to TRANSMISSION FLUID PAN, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

NOTE:

Before disconnecting the connectors, mark the solenoid valves or sensor and their associated connectors.

-- Remove the bolt -1-.

-- Remove the clip -2- with the sensor -3- from the valve body.

-- Then push the sensor -3- out of the clip -2- in the direction of -arrow-.

-- Release and disconnect the connectors -1 through 13- from the valve body.

-- Unclip and free up the wiring harness -A- from the retainers -arrows-.

-- Release and disconnect the connectors -1 through 7- from the valve body.

The connector -7- is located on the Transmission Input Speed Sensor -G182- -8-.

-- Unclip and free up the wiring harness -B- from the retainer -arrow-.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows-.

-- Carefully remove the 28-pin transmission connector -A- and 8-pin transmission connector -B- with their respective wiring harness from the transmission housing.
