Transmission Fluid Pan, Removing And Installing: Installing

-- Check the transmission fluid pan gasket for damage and make sure all of the spacers (quantity: 10) are present.

Otherwise replace the seal.

-- Insert the transmission fluid pan with the gasket. Be sure not to pinch any lines while doing so.

-- Make sure the transmission fluid pan gasket is seated correctly.

-- Tighten the bolts -arrows- in a diagonal sequence and in several stages.

-- Replace the seals -1 and 4-.

-- Install the ATF drain plug with the overflow tube -3-.

-- Only install the ATF check plug -1- hand-tight.

-- Fill the ATF, and check the ATF level and add ATF.

Further installation is performed in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

-- Install the noise insulation. Refer to OVERVIEW - NOISE INSULATION .

-- Install the air filter housing with the air duct hose. Refer to AIR FILTER HOUSING, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
