Coolant Pump, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Drain the coolant. Refer to COOLANT, DRAINING AND FILLING .

-- Remove the air filter housing. Refer to AIR FILTER HOUSING, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Free up the wiring harness -1 and 2- from the air guide pipe.

-- Loosen the screw-type clamp -3-.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows-.

-- Loosen the hose clamp -arrow- and remove the charge air hose -A- downward.

-- Remove the bolt -arrow- on the left and right.

-- Remove the air duct from the lock carrier.

-- Remove the throttle valve control module. Refer to THROTTLE VALVE CONTROL MODULE -GX3-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Lift the clamp -1-, remove the upper coolant supports and set them aside.

-- Disconnect the connectors -2, 3 and 4-. Remove the bolts -1- and move the bracket to the side.

-- Disconnect the connector -1- from the Oil Pressure Switch -F1- -2-.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and remove the toothed belt guard.

-- Loosen the bolts -1 to 4- and remove the toothed belt from the coolant pump.

-- Remove the bolts -1 through 4-, and remove the coolant pump from the Engine Temperature Control Actuator -N493-.
