Overview - Exhaust Temperature Regulation, Vehicles Without SCR System

CAUTION:
There is a risk of malfunctions from loose exhaust gas temperature sensor.
- The threads from the Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor 3 -G495- and Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor 4 -G648- are coated. Do NOT additionally coat with hot bolt paste and make sure to tighten to the tightening specification.
- Oxygen Sensor after Catalytic Converter -G130- with Heater for Oxygen Sensor 1 after Catalytic Converter -Z29-
- Removing and installing. Refer to Oxygen Sensor after Catalytic Converter -G130-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor 4 -G648-
- 60 Nm
- Installed depending on the emissions standard
- Removing and installing. Refer to Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor 4 -G648-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- The exhaust gas temperature sensor thread is coated and cannot be additionally coated with hot bolt paste.
- Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor 1 -G235-
- 45 Nm
- Removing and installing. Refer to Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor 1 -G235-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Coat with hot bolt paste. Refer to the parts information for the hot bolt paste.
- Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor 2 -G448-
- 60 Nm
- Removing and installing. Refer to Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor 2 -G448-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- The exhaust gas temperature sensor thread is coated and cannot be additionally coated with hot bolt paste.
- Bolt
- Tightening specification. Refer to OVERVIEW - HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR, VEHICLES WITHOUT SCR SYSTEM
- Differential Pressure Sensor -G505-
- Installed depending on the emissions standard
- Removing and installing. Refer to Differential Pressure Sensor -G505-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Bracket
- For the differential pressure sensor
- Exhaust Pressure Sensor 1 -G450-
- Removing and installing. Refer to Exhaust Pressure Sensor 1 -G450-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Bolt
- Tightening specification. Refer to OVERVIEW - HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR, VEHICLES WITHOUT SCR SYSTEM
- Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor 3 -G495-
- 60 Nm
- Installed depending on the emissions standard
