Overview - Exhaust Temperature Regulation, Vehicles Without SCR System

CAUTION:

There is a risk of malfunctions from loose exhaust gas temperature sensor.

  • The threads from the Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor 3 -G495- and Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor 4 -G648- are coated. Do NOT additionally coat with hot bolt paste and make sure to tighten to the tightening specification.

  1. Oxygen Sensor after Catalytic Converter -G130- with Heater for Oxygen Sensor 1 after Catalytic Converter -Z29-
  2. Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor 4 -G648-
  3. Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor 1 -G235-
  4. Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor 2 -G448-
  5. Bolt
  6. Differential Pressure Sensor -G505-
  7. Bracket
    • For the differential pressure sensor
  8. Exhaust Pressure Sensor 1 -G450-
  9. Bolt
  10. Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor 3 -G495-
  11. Heated Oxygen Sensor -G39- with Oxygen Sensor Heater -Z19-
  12. Emissions Control Module
