Overview - Exhaust Temperature Regulation, Vehicles With SCR System

CAUTION:
There is a risk of malfunctions from loose exhaust gas temperature sensor.
- The threads from the Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor 3 -G495- and Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor 4 -G648- are coated. Do NOT additionally coat with hot bolt paste and make sure to tighten to the tightening specification.
- Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor 4 -G648-
- 60 Nm
- Removing and installing. Refer to Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor 4 -G648-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- The exhaust gas temperature sensor thread is coated and cannot be additionally coated with hot bolt paste.
- Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor 1 -G235-
- 45 Nm
- Removing and installing. Refer to Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor 1 -G235-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Coat with hot bolt paste. Refer to the parts information for the hot bolt paste.
- EGR Temperature Sensor -G98-
- 60 Nm
- NOx Sensor -G295-
- Removing and installing. Refer to NOx Sensor Control Module -GX30-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Heated Oxygen Sensor -G39- with Oxygen Sensor Heater -Z19-
- Removing and installing. Refer to Oxygen Sensor 1 before Catalytic Converter -GX10-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
