Overview - Diagnosis Pump

- Fuel Tank Filler Tube
- Connecting Pipe
- Leak Detection Pump -V144- to the air filter
- Check for secure fit
- Do not kink
- To disconnect, press the release button on the connecting piece
- Connector Couplings, Disconnecting. Refer to CONNECTOR COUPLINGS .
- The connector couplings must >>audibly<< engage when locking.
- Pull on the connector coupling to check for secure fit.
- Valve
- Connecting Pipe
- From the EVAP canister
- Check for secure fit
- Do not kink
- To disconnect, press the release button on the connecting piece
- Connector Couplings, Disconnecting. Refer to CONNECTOR COUPLINGS .
- The connector couplings must >>audibly<< engage when locking.
- Pull on the connector coupling to check for secure fit.

- Leak Detection Pump -V144- to bracket

- Removing and Installing. Refer to LEAK DETECTION PUMP, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Checking using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester. Refer to FUEL SYSTEM, CHECKING FOR LEAKS .
- If the diagnostic pump is replaced due to fuel entering, the EVAP canister must also be replaced.
