Toothed Belt Sprocket, Removing And Installing: Removing

NOTE:
Place a cleaning cloth under the camshaft adjuster and the tensioning roller to catch any leaking engine oil.
The contact points for the toothed belt, as on the camshaft sprocket, crankshaft toothed belt sprockets, tensioning roller and the idler roller must be kept free of oil.
-- Remove the toothed belt from the camshafts. Refer to TOOTHED BELT, REMOVING FROM CAMSHAFTS .
-- Loosen the bolt for the intake camshaft adjuster. Refer to INTAKE CAMSHAFT ADJUSTER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, VEHICLES WITHOUT ADJUSTABLE EXHAUST CAMSHAFT .
-- Hold the exhaust camshaft with the :T10172 and : T10172/1 in the position.
-- Loosen the bolt -1-.
-- Remove the bolt -1- from the toothed belt sprocket and remove the toothed belt sprocket.
