Camshaft Seal For Transmission Side Exhaust Camshaft, Removing And Installing: Installing

-- If necessary, remove any burrs in the outer area of the grooves on the exhaust camshaft -arrows- using fine-grain 220 to 1000 sandpaper.

-- Slide the seal -1- over the :T10479/3  onto the :T10479/2  .

-- Separate the fitting sleeve and guide sleeve.

-- Position the :T10479/2  with the seal -2- in the center on the camshaft.

-- Secure the guide sleeve to the camshaft with the coolant pump drive wheel bolt -1-.

-- Push the seal onto the camshaft and remove the guide sleeve.

-- Install the seal -2- with the :T10479/1  and the bolt -1- for the coolant pump drive wheel all the way.

-- Install the coolant pump toothed belt. Refer to COOLANT PUMP TOOTHED BELT SPROCKET, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
