Oil Spray Jets, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in reverse order of removal and note the following:

CAUTION:

Risk of damaging the oil spray jets.

  • Do not bend the oil spray jets.
  • Check the oil spray jet clearance after reinstalling the pins.
  • Bent oil spray jets must be replaced.

-- Align the guiding edge of the oil spray jet to the machined surface of the cylinder block.

-- Install the oil pan. Refer to OIL PAN, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Install the noise insulation. Refer to NOISE INSULATION .
