Cylinder Block
Cylinder Head Gasket
- Replace after removing. Refer to CYLINDER HEAD, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Cylinder head gasket identification. Refer to Cylinder Head Gasket Identification .
- Change the coolant and engine oil after replacing
Cylinder Head
- Removing and installing. Refer to CYLINDER HEAD, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Checking for distortion. Refer to the figure in Cylinder Head Plug .
- Must not be reworked
- Information for the plug. Refer to Cylinder Head Plug
Alignment Pin
- For the camshaft housing
Bolt
- Tightening specification and sequence. Refer to Figure.
- Replace after removing.
- Loosening sequence. Refer to Removing .
Bolt
- 20 Nm
Engine Lifting Eye
Spacer Ring
- Replace if damaged
O-ring
- Replace after removing.
- Coat with coolant
Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor -G62-
- Removing and installing. Refer to Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor -G62-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
Double Bolt
- Tightening specification. Refer to OVERVIEW - Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor -G62-
Alignment Pin
- For the camshaft housing
Connection
- For the coolant hoses
Bolt
- 10 Nm
Seal
- Replace after removing.
Alignment Pin
- For intake manifold with charge air cooler
