Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor -G62-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Removing

The engine is cold.

-- Briefly open the coolant expansion tank cap -arrow- and release any residual pressure in the cooling system and then close it again until it locks.

-- Remove the air filter housing. Refer to AIR FILTER HOUSING, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Loosen the hose clamp -2-.

-- Remove the bolt -1- and push the air duct pipe slightly to the left.

-- Disconnect the connector -1-.

NOTE:

Cover the opening of the transmission with a cleaning cloth, so that no coolant enters the clutch housing.

To prevent coolant loss, immediately insert the new Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor -G62- into the connecting piece.

-- Remove the bolt -2- and remove the Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor -G62- -item 3-.
