Coolant Pump, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Drain the coolant. Refer to COOLANT, DRAINING AND FILLING .

-- Remove the turbocharger air duct pipe/charge air cooler. Refer to TURBOCHARGER AIR DUCT PIPE/CHARGE AIR COOLER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the throttle valve control module. Refer to Throttle Valve Control Module -GX3-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Lift the clamp -1-, remove the upper coolant supports and set them aside.

-- Disconnect the connectors -2, 3 and 4-. Remove the bolts -1- and move the bracket to the side.

-- Disconnect the connector -1- from the Oil Pressure Switch -- -2-.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and remove the toothed belt guard.

-- Loosen the bolts -1 to 4- and remove the toothed belt from the coolant pump.

-- Remove the bolts -1 through 4- completely and remove the coolant pump from the Engine Temperature Control Actuator -N493-.
