Exhaust Side Balance Shaft, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the upper timing chain cover. Refer to TIMING CHAIN COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the lower timing chain cover. Refer to LOWER TIMING CHAIN COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the camshaft timing chain and balance shaft drive chain. Refer to CAMSHAFT TIMING CHAIN, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the bolt -1- for the exhaust side balance shaft and remove the balance shaft.
