- Check for wear
- Before removing, mark the running direction using chalk or felt-tip pen
- Adjusting valve timing. Refer to VALVE TIMING, ADJUSTING .
- Pay attention to the bending radius. Refer to Figure.
- Removing. Refer to TOOTHED BELT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

- To remove and install, remove the engine support. Refer to ENGINE SUPPORT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

- Exhaust Camshaft Toothed Belt Sprocket
- Removing and installing. Refer to TOOTHED BELT SPROCKET, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Intake Camshaft Toothed Belt Sprocket
- With camshaft adjuster
- Camshaft adjuster, removing and installing. Refer to INTAKE CAMSHAFT ADJUSTER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, VEHICLES WITH ADJUSTABLE EXHAUST CAMSHAFT .
- Guide Sleeve

- Tightening specification and sequence. Refer to Installing - Pre-Tightening Procedure .
- Always replace after removing.

- Replace if damaged
