Sealing Flange, Removing And Installing, Belt Pulley Side: Removing

-- Remove the noise insulation. Refer to OVERVIEW - NOISE INSULATION .

-- Remove the A/C compressor with the lines attached and tie it up to the right. Refer to A/C COMPRESSOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the toothed belt. Refer to TOOTHED BELT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the crankshaft toothed belt sprocket -1- in direction of -arrow-.

-- Remove the bolts -1 through 8- and carefully loosen the sealing flange from the bonding.

• Risk of contaminating the lubrication system with sealant residue.
• Lay a clean cloth over the open section of the oil pan.

-- Remove the seal when the sealing flange is removed.
