Overview - Ribbed Belt Drive, Vehicles Without A/C Compressor

  1. Bolt
    • 150 Nm + 180°
    • Always replace after removing.
  2. Vibration Damper
  3. Ribbed Belt
    • Check for wear
    • Before removing, mark the running direction using chalk or a felt-tip pen.
    • When installing, make sure it is seated correctly on the pulleys
    • Do not kink
    • Based on the version of the decoupling belt pulley, allocate the length of the ribbed belt pulley. Refer to Parts Information.
    • Ribbed belt routing. Refer to Installing - Position the ribbed belt as shown. .
    • Removing and installing. Refer to RIBBED BELT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
  4. Bolt
    • 20 Nm + 90°
    • Always replace after removing.
  5. Ribbed Belt Tensioner
  6. Bolt
  7. Generator
    • With freewheel
    • Different decoupling belt pulleys -A and B- could be installed depending on the type and version of the generator. Refer to Fig 2.
    • Removing and installing. Refer to GENERATOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

Allocate the length of the ribbed belt based on the version of the decoupling belt pulley. Refer to Parts Information.
