Cooling System Charge Kit: VAS6096 AND Cooling System Charge Kit - Electric Vacuum Pump: VAS6096/2, CHECKING (SELF-TEST)

NOTE:

Before using the : VAS6096 and the : VAS6096/2 , a check (self-test) must be performed to ensure that the cooling system is filled correctly.

-- Connect the hose -1- of the : VAS6096/2 to the connector coupling -B- on the : VAS6096 .

-- Connect the : VAS6096/2 on the vehicle battery and switch on.

-- Close valve -A- and open valve -B-.

-- The needle on the pressure gauge -arrow- must move until it is well below the green area.

-- Close the valve -B- and switch off the : VAS6096/2 .

-- Monitor the vacuum on the pressure gauge for 10 seconds. The needle must not move.

If Not Enough Vacuum Builds up, or the Pressure Continues to Increase:

The : VAS6096 or the : VAS6096/2 is leaking or faulty and must not be used.
