Heater Support Pump -V488-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Installing

Install in reverse order of removal and note the following:

NOTE:

Secure all hose connections with hose clamps appropriate for the model. Refer to the Parts Information.

-- Check the coolant level and fill, if necessary. Refer to Coolant Level, Checking after Repair .

-- Start the engine and let it run in idle.

-- Connect the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester, check the engine control module DTC memory and erase all entries.

NOTE:

The electrical coolant pump may store a fault in the engine control module due to an air bubble in the cooling system. This air bubble is pushed out after the first start.
