Charge Air Pressure Actuator -V465-, ADJUSTING

Special tools and workshop equipment required 

• Mini Torque Wrench :VAS6854 
• Setting Gauge :T40346 
• Torque Wrench 1783 - Open Jaw - 10mm :VAG1783/1 
• 5 mm Open End Wrench
• Vehicle Diagnostic Tester

Removing 

-- Loosen the clamp -1- for the catalytic converter -2- and push the clamp on the turbocharger.

-- Remove the noise insulation. Refer to OVERVIEW - NOISE INSULATION .

-- Remove the nuts -2-.

-- Remove bolts -arrows- and set the catalytic converter slightly aside.

-- Turn on the ignition and select the following menu item on the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester:

• 0001 - Engine electronics functions 
• 0001 - basic setting 
• Adaptation / Adjusting the Turbocharger 

-- Follow the instructions on the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.

-- Insert the Setting Gauge :T40346  .

-- Loosen the lock nut -1-.

-- Adjust the linkage -arrow- on the Charge Air Pressure Actuator -V465- according to the instructions on the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.

-- Tighten the lock nut -1- to the tightening specification.

-- Remove the Setting Gauge :T40346  .
