Converter with Socket, 12 V-115 V -U27-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING

WARNING:

There is a danger of electric shock.

The Converter with Socket, 12 V-115 V -U27- housing contains capacitors that can be charged with residual voltage.
The Converter with Socket, 12 V-115 V -U27- housing must not be opened under any circumstances.
No repairs may be performed on the connector, on the wires and the 115 V socket.
If there is a connector, wire, 115 V socket or converter malfunction, always replace the entire unit.

Removing

-- Turn off the ignition and all electrical equipment.

-- Remove the ignition key, if equipped.

-- Remove the right luggage compartment side trim panel. Refer to LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT SIDE TRIM PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Release and disconnect the connector -1-.

-- Remove the bolts -4 and 5-.

-- Remove the Converter with Socket, 12 V-115 V -U27- -2- with the bracket -3-.

-- Remove the bolts -3-.

-- Remove the Converter with Socket, 12 V-115 V -U27- -1- from the bracket -2-.

Installing:

Install in reverse order of removal.
