Overview - Ribbed Belt Drive, Vehicles Without A/C Compressor
- Bolt
- 150 Nm + 180°
- Always replace after removing.
- Vibration Damper
- Removing and installing. Refer to VIBRATION DAMPER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Ribbed Belt
- Check for wear
- Before removing, mark the running direction using chalk or a felt-tip pen.
- When installing, make sure it is seated correctly on the pulleys
- Do not kink
- Based on the version of the decoupling belt pulley, allocate the length of the ribbed belt pulley. Refer to Parts Information.
- Ribbed belt routing. Refer to Installing - Position the ribbed belt as shown. .
- Removing and installing. Refer to RIBBED BELT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Bolt
- 20 Nm + 90°
- Always replace after removing.
- Ribbed Belt Tensioner
- To release the tension on the ribbed belt, pivot using a socket.
- Secure using the Locking Pin: T10060A
- Removing and installing. Refer to RIBBED BELT TENSIONER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Bolt
- Tightening specification. Refer to OVERVIEW - GENERATOR .
- Generator
- With freewheel
- Different decoupling belt pulleys -A and B- could be installed depending on the type and version of the generator. Refer to Fig 2.
- Removing and installing. Refer to GENERATOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
Decoupling Belt Pulley Allocation
Allocate the length of the ribbed belt based on the version of the decoupling belt pulley. Refer to Parts Information.
