-- Remove the front door trim panel. Refer to FRONT DOOR TRIM PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

NOTE:

For reasons of clarity, the front door trim panel is not illustrated.

-- Release the catches -2- on both sides using a small screwdriver.

-- Remove the Rear Lid Remote Release Button -E233- -3- from the trim -1-.

-- Release and disconnect the connector on the Rear Lid Remote Release Button -E233- -3-.
