Engine Cover, Removing And Installing, 2.0L TSI Engines

Removing the Type 1 Engine Cover:

-- Remove the hose from the connection -arrow A- if equipped.

-- Disengage the engine cover at the mounting points -B arrows- and lift.

-- Then remove from retainer -arrow C-.

Installing

-- Slide the engine cover -1- with the tab -arrow A- at the mounting point -2- into the bracket -arrow B-.

-- Then position the engine cover on the other mounting points and press it on -B arrows- until it noticeably engages.

-- Connect the hose on the connection -arrow A- if equipped.

Removing the Type 2 Engine Cover:

-- Unclip the engine cover at the mounting points -arrows- and remove it upward.

Installing

Installation is reverse of removal.
