Instrument Cluster -KX2-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Removing

-- Turn off the ignition and all electrical equipment and remove the ignition key.

For better illustration the steering wheel is not shown. It is not necessary to remove the steering wheel in order to remove the Instrument Cluster -KX2-.

-- Pull the steering wheel all the way out and then lower as far down as it will go.

-- Remove the instrument cluster frame. Refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL CROSSMEMBER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING (CONVERTIBLE) .

-- Remove the bolts -2 and 3-.

-- Pull the instrument cluster -1- back out of the instrument panel while being careful of the connected wires.

-- Move the securing bracket -1- in the direction of the -arrow- and remove the connector -2-.
