Rear Side Window, Removing And Installing, Convertible: Removing

NOTE:

Removing and installing is described only for the left side window. Removing and installing right side window is derived accordingly from this.

-- Remove the side trim panel. Refer to SIDE TRIM PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the convertible top compartment trim molding. Refer to REMOVING AND INSTALLING THE CONVERTIBLE TOP COMPARTMENT TRIM MOLDING .

-- Bring the side window to the topmost position (side window closed).

NOTE:

If this step is not possible due to the window regulator motor malfunctioning, then completely remove the window regulator. Refer to WINDOW REGULATOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the inner door seal near the side window and front bolt -2-. Refer to INNER DOOR SEAL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, CONVERTIBLE .

-- Remove the bolts -2-.

-- Remove the intermediate plate -1- and foam piece -3-.

-- Remove the bolts -2- and then remove the side window -1- upward.
