Damaged Window Glass, Removing

WARNING:

Always wear protective eyewear and leather gloves.

-- Protect the body and vehicle interior from glass splinters.

-- Remove the glass pieces up to the adhesive sealant.

-- If equipped, disconnect the connectors for the rear window defogger and the window antenna.

-- Bond the flange -2- all around with fabric reinforced adhesive tape.

-- Cut the adhesive (with glass residue) in the opening for the window with the : VAG1561A and a designated cutting blade.
