Overview - Door

NOTE:
The illustration below shows the right side. The left side is identical.
Always replace the bolts for the door hinges after loosening. Loosening one time for adjusting the door is permissible.
- Door
- Removing and Installing. Refer to DOOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Adjusting. Refer to DOOR, ADJUSTING .
- Bolt
- 40 Nm
- Replace after removing.
- Loosening one time to adjust the door is permissible.
- Door Hinge
- The hinge has two sections.
- A bolt -4- attaches the upper section to the lower section.
- Bolt
- 23 Nm
- Attaches the upper section -3- to the lower section -7-
- Cap
- Place over the bolt -4-
- Bolt
- 40 Nm
- Replace after removing.
- Loosening one time to adjust the door is permissible.
- Installed from the vehicle interior
- The A-pillar lower trim must be removed in order remove and install. Refer to A-PILLAR TRIM PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Door Hinge
- The hinge has two sections.
- A bolt -4- attaches the lower section to the upper section.
- Bolt
- 40 Nm
- Replace after removing.
- Loosening one time to adjust the door is permissible.
- Bolt
- 30 Nm
- Door Strap
- Removing and Installing. Refer to DOOR ARRESTER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Bolt
- 9 Nm
- Quantity: 2
- Bolt
- Tightening specification: 40 Nm
- Replace after removing.
- Loosening one time to adjust the door is permissible.
- Installed from the vehicle interior
- To remove and install, the instrument panel must be removed. Refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
