Bumper Cover, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the expanding rivets -4- from underneath.

-- Remove the left and right bolt -3- from underneath as well as the bolts -5- in the wheel housing liners.

-- Loosen the wheel liners in the rear area and remove the left and right bolts -6-.

-- Remove the left and right tail lamps. Refer to TAIL LAMP, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the left and right bolts -2-.

A second technician is required for the rest of the removal procedure.

-- Remove the rear bumper cover -1- from the retainers on the left and right guide -7- in direction of -A arrows-.

-- Release the retainers on the left and right guide in the area of the tail lamps -B arrows-.

-- Remove the rear bumper cover -1- in direction of -C arrows- from the vehicle. A second technician is needed for this.

-- Disconnect the connectors from any electrical components.
