Tools For Repairing Brake Lines

Special tools and workshop equipment required 

Flare the brake lines with 5 mm outer diameter using the : VAS6056  without damaging coating. This allows for partial sections of the brake lines to be inexpensively replaced in certain cases.

Working with : VAG1356  is not permitted because of the coating and diameter of black brake lines.

NOTE:

The brake lines may be bent maximum 90° otherwise they will break or be permanently deformed.

If the brake line is bent more than 90°, the diameter of the line will be changed.

Disconnect the brake lines preferably at the underbody.

Position of intermediate pieces should be selected so that they cannot rub against moving parts.

Do not lubricate the spindle, clean only with mineral spirits.
