Cover And Cushion, Removing And Installing, Rear Seat Backrest, Convertible: Removing

-- Remove the bench seat. Refer to BENCH SEAT/SINGLE SEAT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

CAUTION:

Do not press the rear seat backrests onto the center backrest mounting! To prevent damage to the backrest cover, place a foam piece or similar material between the backrest mounting and the backrest!

-- Remove the luggage compartment carpet. Refer to LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the rear dual seat belt latch. Refer to REAR SEAT BELT LATCH, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the side trim panel. Refer to SIDE TRIM PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, CONVERTIBLE .

-- Remove the rear seat backrest. Refer to REAR SEAT BACKREST, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, CONVERTIBLE .

-- Remove the headrest guides. Refer to HEADREST GUIDE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the outer trim -1- for the TOP Tether using the : 3409 -2-.

-- Remove the clip -1- from the rear seat backrest using : T10236 -2-.

-- Disengage the left backrest on front part of cover -1- from clamping strip on rear of cover -2-.

-- Disengage the right backrest on the front part of cover from the clamping strip on the rear of cover, as shown.

-- Open the zippers on the side.

-- Releases the bands on the side and push them through the frame.

-- Remove the cover and padding from the backrest frame.
