Backrest Cover And Cushion, Removing And Installing: Installing

Vehicles with Seat Heating

NOTE:

The heating element must be positioned so that it has no bends.

-- Guide the wiring harness through the lower oblong hole.

-- Position the heating element -2- under the cushion trench -1-.

-- Remove the peel-off backing from the right adhesive strip -3-.

-- Press the heating element -2- onto the cushion -1- using light pressure. Make sure it has no kinks.

-- Remove the peel-off backing from the left adhesive strip -4-.

-- Press the heating element -2- onto the cushion -1- using light pressure. Make sure it has no kinks.

-- Remove the protective foil -3 and 4- upward little by little and gently attach the heating element -2- to the cushion -1- without kinking it.

-- Push the cushion -5- over both headrest guides and onto the backrest frame.

-- Attach the cover -1- to the cushion -5- with the clips -4-.

-- Attach the seat cover -1- to the cushion -5- all the way around with new upholstery clips -2- at the shown locations -3- using the :VAG1634 .

Further assembly is performed in reverse order.
