Front Three-Point Seat Belt, Removing And Installing, Sedan: Installing

WARNING:
  • Follow the Safety Precautions when working with airbags, belt tensioners and battery cut-out units (pyrotechnic components). Refer to SAFETY PRECAUTIONS .
  • Refer to the special information regarding seat belt tensioners. Refer to BELT TENSIONER SAFETY PRECAUTIONS .

-- When installing  , make sure that the tabs -3- for the automatic belt retractor -2- are inserted into the opening in the body -arrow-.

-- Tighten the new bolt -1-.

-- When installing  the belt strap in the guide rod, make sure that the code label -4- is facing the B-pillar.

-- Perform the rest of the installation in the reverse order of removal.

-- Connect the battery ground cable with the ignition switched on. Refer to BATTERY, DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING .
