Disconnecting the Connectors

Disconnecting the Voltage Supply Connector

-- Press the release -1-. Disconnect the connector -4- from the Passenger Occupant Detection System Control Module -J706- -5-.

Disconnecting the Connector of the Passenger Occupant Detection System Pressure Sensor -G452- :

-- Press the release -3-. Disconnect the connector -6- from the Passenger Occupant Detection System Control Module -J706- -5-.

NOTE:

The connectors -4 and 6- on the Passenger Occupant Detection System Control Module -J706- -5- have seals. The seal protect against moisture.

Avoid removing and then installing the seal so that the seal remains tight.

Route the wiring harnesses as before after replacing any components one they have been connected to the control module.
