Driver Front Airbag Crash Sensor -G283-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Installing

-- Install the Driver Front Airbag Crash Sensor -G283- -3-. The tab -arrow A- must fit into the hole -arrow B-.

NOTE:

This ensures the Driver Front Airbag Crash Sensor -G283- will be installed correctly.

-- Install the bolt -2- and tighten it.

-- Connect the connector -1- and lock it.

Further installation is performed in reverse order of removal, while noting the following:

NOTE:

Make sure the connectors are pushed in all the way and that they engage audibly.

Make sure the wires are not pinched.

-- Switch the ignition on.

WARNING:

Make sure that no persons are in the vehicle.

-- Connect the battery ground cable with the ignition switched on. Refer to BATTERY, DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING .
