Rear Wheel Arch Trim, Removing And Installing: Notes

NOTE:

The following describes the assembly of the wheel housing trim on the left side. The right side is identical.

It is not possible to remove the wheel housing trim without damaging it.

Removing

-- Warm up the rear wheel housing trim -1- using the :VAS1978/14A .

-- Detach the rear wheel housing trim -1- downward from the top in direction of -arrow A- using the :3409 .

-- Pull the rear wheel housing trim out of the trim -2- on the bumper cover -3-.

-- If the wheel housing trim cannot be removed, the Cutting Wire is used to cut the adhesive tape -5-.

-- Remove the rear wheel housing trim from the trim panel for the side sill -4- in direction of -arrow B-.
