Front Wheel Arch Trim, Removing And Installing: Notes

NOTE:

The following describes the assembly of the wheel housing trim on the left side. The right side is identical.

It is not possible to remove the wheel housing trim without damaging it.

There are different versions. Refer to the parts information.

Removing

-- Remove the screws -3- from the wheel housing.

-- Warm up the front wheel housing trim -1- using the :VAS1978/14A .

-- Detach the front wheel housing trim -1- downward from the top in direction of -arrow A- using the :3409 .

-- Pull the front wheel housing trim out of the trim -5- on the bumper cover -4-.

-- If the wheel housing trim cannot be removed, the Cutting Wire is used to cut the adhesive tape -6-.

-- Remove the front wheel housing trim -1- from the trim panel for the side sill -2- in direction of -arrow B-.
